So I’ve seen enough of the “Oops, I forgot to send this on time, so the offer is good for another day” emails, but what are some other ways people craft to get more engagement from their customers?
Here are some I’ve seen:
- Typos – Intentional or not, people love to point them out or help you. This may endear them to you and it may also make it so that your emails are less likely treated as SPAM since the user has interacted with you.
- Asking a question – This might not be so sneaky but it can be. It does make it so their emails are less likely to be marked SPAM as there has been some interaction.
- A mistake – Then another email can come up to clarify and either it can extend an offer or explain again how good something is.
